The Literary and Cultural Analysis programme from UvA is an interdisciplinary major combining advanced literary studies with cultural analysis. Emphasis on close reading, comparative literature, and analytical writing, with coursework spanning classic and contemporary texts, media, and popular culture. The central skills are critical interpretation, application of theoretical frameworks, and clear, persuasive communication in English.
